If you are already eating vegan/plant-based or just starting off you've likely been told a number of things. Sadly, 8 out of 10 people are not given to correct information.
You may wonder...is that true? Well, here's why I say that.
A major study took place and they found that 84% of people who gave up meat ultimately quit and went back to eating meat. They clearly were motivated to give it up but they were not given the right answers to the questions they had...or maybe they didn't know the right questions to ask.
So what does it take to eat vegan/plant-based for life?
As someone who has been eating vegan for 22 years I've discovered many of the 'secrets' it takes. It's not that I even set out to discover the secrets, but after years I realized I was doing specific things that others weren't as I continued to eat this way...without any question or struggle.
As I've been interviewing some of the best known people in the vegan/plant-based world on the Mindful Vegan show such as Moby, Dr Michael Greger-author of How Not To Die, Russell Simmons, Dr Thomas Campbell-co-author of The China Study (and so many others who have been eating vegan for years...decades.) I've seen common traits, behaviors and realized they follow many of the 'secrets'.
