Unfortunately at the time her food choices were mostly of what she calls junk vegan food and didn't consist of a lot of whole food plants.
A health scare in the 1990s woke her up to the idea that she needed to begin to eat healthy vegan food verses junk vegan food and her journey has taken her far.
She has been on TV, regularly posts videos on YouTube and has a book all where she shares her passion for vegan, plant-based food.
